Nintendogs has finally hit an honorable landmark. Nintendo has officially sold 1,500,000 copies of Nintendogs worldwide.
Congradulations for Nintendo attempting to bring back the virtual pet age, and succeeding at it. To all of those who doubted
the success of the software in north america, 250,000 of those copies were in the United States alone. it has truly made
it's mark on the Nintendo community and continue to burn up the lists on top selling games.
Last sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM, in honor of this occassion, the father of modern gaming himself, Shigeru Miyamoto made
a guest appearance at the Nintendo World Store in Rockefeller Center in New York. He personally unlocked the rare Jack Russel
Terrier breed for many of his adoring fans. For those lucky enough to have there system touched by Miyamoto himself, my hats
off to you. I'm sure your the envy of the Nintendo Community.
Yes, Nintendogs is an undeniable success. It's release in Japan was smash, and when it hit North America it took it by
storm. There is no doubt in my mind it will be a hit in Europe when it reaches there on October 7. From what we've seen
so far: Where Nintendogs Goes, Success Follows.
And that's my two yen. :)
